My name is Scott Sylvester, and my passion is capturing moments.
That wasn’t always the case. Growing up, I always had a desire to understand more about life. I even majored in Biology to study… life. But at some point, I stopped studying it, and then worse, I stopped living it.
Through my growth and recovery from the dark times of my life, the passion I had for photography was rekindled and, in a way, reborn. I started by photographing “things,” and I still find those images beautiful.
My own re-emergence in living life drove me to adjust the lens from aiming at the “things” but rather to the life in the viewfinder. I am most passionate today about capturing moments that tell stories. I hope you enjoy my vision of the world around me.
